Boomtown is not remotely a Vegas-style casino - but is without a doubt, a Reno-style place. Very low key and homey. Boomtown is a cool place because they have this truly amazing arcade called the "Fun Center" - we take guests there just for that. Be sure and check out the Dynamic Motion Theatre (or something like that) - it's great fun. A couple of years ago the steak house there was spectacular too - haven't been there in awhile though - the place is on the edge of town and I'm afraid we don't think of going there as often as we probably could. I haven't seen the hotel rooms - but they get an absolute ton of truckers there - and you know what they say - follow the truckers. The coffee shop and buffet are probably a little below average though...

Overall higher than average rating - 7/10 - higher than average because of the Fun Center.
